Coronavirus (COVID-19) Grants

There have been no new announcements from Welsh Government on any new round of business support grants for April 2021 onwards. We will advise on our webpages once we know anymore.

Business Support for Covid Restrictions

Closed: Grants are available of between £2500 to £10000 to support businesses, social enterprises and charities and associated supply chain businesses that have experienced / will continue to experience a material negative impact as a result of ongoing COVID-19 restrictions from the beginning of 1st May 2021 onwards.

Isolation payments

Open: From 23 October 2020, eligible individuals are entitled to a Self-Isolation Support Payment or discretionary support payment of £500. This is to support people on low incomes who are unable to work from home if they are told to self-isolate by the NHS Wales Test, Trace, Protect service (TTP) and will lose income as a result.

Freelancer Grant

Closed: This is a grant to provide financial assistance to freelancers in the cultural and creative sectors that are facing financial challenges as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. Applications will open on Monday 17th May 12.00 noon, and closes at 17:00 on Tuesday 1st June.

Covid Community Recovery Grant

Open: The purpose of the Covid Community Recovery Grant is to help community groups, charities, social enterprises and voluntary groups supporting people and communities in Powys respond to the challenges and impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Tenancy Hardship Grant

Open: You can apply for this grant if you rent your home and you are at risk of homelessness as you are building up arrears of rent because of Covid-19. This could be because your income has become less during the Covid-19 period or your costs have gone up too
