Coronavirus (COVID-19) Grants
There have been no new announcements from Welsh Government on any new round of business support grants for April 2021 onwards. We will advise on our webpages once we know anymore.
Closed: Grants are available of between £2500 to £10000 to support businesses, social enterprises and charities and associated supply chain businesses that have experienced / will continue to experience a material negative impact as a result of ongoing COVID-19 restrictions from the beginning of 1st May 2021 onwards.
Open: Eligible individuals are entitled to a Self-Isolation Support Payment or discretionary support payment of £750. This is to support people on low incomes who are unable to work from home if they or their children are told to self-isolate by the NHS Wales Test, Trace, Protect service (TTP) or the child's school, and will lose income as a result.
Closed: This is a grant to provide financial assistance to freelancers in the cultural and creative sectors that are facing financial challenges as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. Applications will open on Monday 17th May 12.00 noon, and closes at 17:00 on Tuesday 1st June.
Open: You can apply for this grant if you rent your home and you are at risk of homelessness as you are building up arrears of rent because of Covid-19. This could be because your income has become less during the Covid-19 period or your costs have gone up too
Opening soon: If you are a working age households and pay an energy bill and receive low income benefits, you could qualify for a £100 payment. You must apply between 13th December 2021 and 17th February 2022.
