Powys Library Service are holding a number of events in our libraries as part of the Winter of Wellbeing programme.
The Winter of Wellbeing programme gives children and young people an opportunity to join in free activities of all kinds in our libraries:
9 March 17:00 Storytelling with Daniel Morden, Machynlleth Library
Daniel Morden is an award-winning author and enthralling storyteller. It will be an outdoor event so wear clothing appropriate for the weather. Suitable for anyone over 7
10 March 2022 3:45 Montgomeryshire Tales with Mair Tomos Ifans, Llanfyllin Library
Join storyteller Mair Tomos Ifans and enjoy some tales of Montgomeryshire.

11 & 18 March Zine workshops, Machynlleth Library
The zine workshops will explore creative expression through words and pictures, using drawing, collage, and creative writing. Participants will create zines on topics that are important to them and try out new techniques for storytelling and illustration. We will also work on a collaborative zine to add to our zine collection.
Suitable for 7 - 11 year olds

Join Suzane Tumnus as she tells some Welsh legends and tales.
The session will be in English. Suitable for primary school age children
These activities are funded by Welsh Government and public libraries across Wales are working with The Reading Agency to promote the proven difference reading can make to young people's lives and wellbeing.
