Powys County Council is consulting on a proposal to change the language category of Ysgol y Cribarth.

Powys County Council is consulting on a proposal to change the language category of Ysgol y Cribarth by introducing a Welsh-medium stream at the school.  The proposal is as follows:

• To make a regulated alteration to formally establish a Welsh-medium stream at Ysgol y Cribarth from September 2023.

This consultation is being held in accordance with the School Organisation Code (2018) and School Standards and Organisation (Wales) Act 2013.

Consultation started on the 19^th December 2022 and will end on the 6^th February 2023.
