Powys County Council is consulting on a proposal to close Irfon Valley C.P School.

Powys County Council is consulting on a proposal to close Irfon Valley C.P School.  The proposal is as follows:

• To close Irfon Valley C.P School from the 31st August 2024, with pupils to transfer to their nearest alternative schools

This consultation is being held in accordance with the School Organisation Code (2018) and School Standards and Organisation (Wales) Act 2013.

Consultation started on the 26^th October 2023 and will end on the 7^th December 2023.
