Two disabled athletes from Powys have been congratulated by the county council after being selected to represent Wales at next year's Commonwealth Games.
100m sprinter Morgan Jones, from Newbridge-on-Wye, and Builth Wells bowler Pauline Wilson have been selected by Team Wales and will compete in the 2018 Commonwealth Games, which is being held in Australia's Gold Coast.
Morgan, a former Builth Wells High School pupil, will take part in the men's 100m T47 event while Pauline will compete in the open triples (B6/B7/B8) event.
Both athletes have been supported by the council's Sports Development Team.
Cllr Rachel Powell, Cabinet Member for Sports Development, said: "This is a fantastic achievement and I would like to congratulate both Morgan and Pauline on being selected to represent Team Wales at next year's Commonwealth Games.
"It is fantastic for our Sports Development Team to see talented athletes that they have assisted being selected for the international stage.
"I wish Morgan and Pauline all the best as they prepare for the Commonwealth Games next year and I'm sure the whole county will be cheering them on when they are in Australia."
