Public Participation at Council meetings
|15th December 2017|
Powys residents will be able to ask questions in next month's county council meeting as part of a public participation initiative.
Earlier this year the county council allowed members of the public to ask questions at a meeting of full council for the first time ever as part of a trial to improve links with county residents. The council has now agreed to have a 20 minute slot at the start of each county council agenda for public questions.
The next meeting of full council will be on Thursday January 25 and question need to be submitted by 5pm on Wednesday January 10 to be considered.
Questions must relate to Powys and/or the services the council provides. If accepted by the Chair of Council they will be added to the Council Agenda in the order in which they are received.
Anyone interested in submitting a question should visit the council's website www.powys.gov.uk for more information.
