Powys Business offered chance to comment on budget
|2nd February 2018|
Powys businesses are being offered a chance to comment on the county council revenue budget for the coming financial year.
In the past business rates-payers and their representatives have been invited to a public meeting at County Hall, Llandrindod Wells to comment on the council's revenue budget.
But, the council is now inviting businesses to comment on the 2018/19 revenue budget as part of an online consultation exercise.
Cabinet Member for Finance, Councillor Aled Davies said: "The budget is important for business throughout the county and by providing an opportunity for businesses to express their views online everyone has the same opportunity to comment no matter where they are based."
Those who want to find out more and comment on the budget should visit the council's website and follow the link www.powys.gov.uk/en/corporate/find-out-about-consultations-in-powys/budgetsurvey2018/
The consultation will run from Friday February 2 until 5pm on February 16, comments can also be submitted in writing during that time.
