Celebrating Foster Carers
|8th May 2018|
#Proud to Foster is the theme of this year's Foster Care Fortnight which runs from 14th to 25th May 2018. The annual nationwide campaign encourages people to consider fostering and asks them to look at the skills and qualities needed to make great Foster Carers.
Foster Care Fortnight is an excellent opportunity to showcase the difference that foster care makes to the lives of fostered children and young people. Foster care doesn't just transform the lives of the young people who are fostered, it also has the power to change the lives of foster carers, their families and all those who are involved in fostering.
If you want to find out more about fostering in Powys the team will be out and about throughout the fortnight. Come and meet us and have a chat about fostering in Powys.
