By the end of this training session, participants will:
- Explore the role of Panel
- Examine the expectations of Panel in respect to social work reports
- Reflect on how values impinge on decision making
- Consider assessment issues and implications as they relate to Panel process and applicants attending
- Explore the role of kinship care in achieving good outcomes for children and the challenges these assessments present to panel
- Reflect on the diversity of Panel members and applicants attending
- Consider Panel relationships and group decision making
