When and how will the parent/carers receive notification of the allocated places?

When and how will the setting receive notification of the allocated places?

Settings will receive a list, via e-mail of the allocated places, by no later than Monday, 11 November 2019 at the latest.

I have missed the deadline to apply for a place. Can my child have a place?

An application should be made immediately.  The application will be a LATE APPLICATION, but will, if possible, be considered within the Admission Round

Can the setting accept fee paying children after their 3rd birthday?

Each setting has a maximum number (as decided by Care Inspectorate Wales) in respect of the number of children they can take in the setting.  On that basis if there are places available, after the funded children have been allocated places, the setting can take fee paying children up to the maximum number.  However, if the place is ever required for funded 3 or 4-year-old child the place should be made available.

The Powys Admission Team are the admitting body and have the right to admit children up to the number of early years' places that the setting is funded for.
