Coronavirus (COVID-19) - Libraries and Museums

21st December 2020

Following the Welsh Government announcement all of our library buildings are now closed, and will remain closed until Government guidance changes.

Although our buildings are closed, our Order & Collect service is continuing - tell us what kind of books you like to read, and we'll hand-pick some great reads for you to pick up. Fill in a form here or call us on 01597 827460 to order, and we will let you know when your items are ready to collect. You can also request books on our library catalogue. All items will be quarantined for 3 days in advance of collection.

As you are not able to return items, you won't be fined and they will be automatically renewed. Please keep your books at home.

Remember, you can join the library and download eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines for free.  Library members also get free access to Ancestry.com from home.  Go to our library catalogue for more information.

For help or advice about your library, email library@powys.gov.uk or ring the central number 01597 827460.
