Emergency Childcare Hubs

Emergency childcare hubs are operating from various locations across the county, which provide childcare to support critical emergency workers, NHS staff and social care workers as well as the county's most vulnerable children.


Pre School Children

To access the provision critical workers will need to register their child every week by filling in an online form.

The emergency childcare hubs are based in:  Brecon, Crickhowell, Llandrindod Wells, Llanidloes, Llanymynech, Llyswen, Newbridge-on-Wye, Newtown, Machynlleth, Presteigne, Welshpool, Ystradgynlais.

Childcare Costs for Emergency Childcare will be covered by the Welsh Governments Covid Childcare Assistant Scheme [410KB]

Bookings for places from Monday 10th August to Sunday 16th August are now closed.

Bookings for places from Monday 17th August to Sunday 23rd August will open on Monday 10th August and close on 12th August at 3pm
