Mental Capacity Act 2005 Assessment training - Practical Application

This will be an interactive session to support the completion of Mental capacity assessments.

Aim

To support Adult Social Care Practitioners and Review Community Support Officers that complete Mental Capacity assessments within their work.

With a view to demystify the terminology within the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and what this actually means in practise.

To include - How to support robust records and how to apply principles 1 to 5, of the Mental Capacity Act.

• 9^th April 2024, 9.30am - 12.30pm
• 8^th October 2024, 9.30am - 12.30pm

There is no charge to attend these courses, however a cancellation charge may apply to non-attendance if sufficient notice is not given
