Residential Day / Night Care Workers

The Role

As a Residential Care worker, you will be responsible for ensuring that children with complex emotional and behavioural needs are safe, healthy, learning, fulfilledand have their voices heard and acted upon.    

Residential Care Workers will be the foundation of the team providing daily care.  Your role will be responsible for promoting healthy, safe routine and creating a warm, inclusive home under the direction of the Registered Manager.  Your role will be integral to a flexible team that will organise, encourage, and share residential and leisure activities that meet the needs of the children and young people at the home.  This will include outside activities such as maintaining the gardens, creating a vegetable patch and responsibility for the care, feeding and welfare of small animals.

The Residential Night Care Worker will be a continuity of the day role providing safe care throughout the night.

You must be able to drive and have a full clean driving licence.

All our post holders must have an enhanced DBS check.
