Llangedwyn Church in Wales School
Powys County Council has carried out the statutory process on a proposal to close Llangedwyn Church in Wales School.
A Statutory Notice in respect of this proposal was published on the 10 January 2024, and the Objection Period ended on 7 February 2024.
The Council has prepared an Objection Report outlining the Objections received during the Objection Period. The Objection Report is available below:
On the 27 February 2024, the Council's Cabinet considered the Objection Report and agreed to go ahead with the proposal to close Llangedwyn C. in W. School from the 31 August 2024, with pupils to transfer to Llanfechain C. in W. School.
