Irfon Valley C.P. School

Powys County Council has carried out the statutory process on a proposal to close Irfon Valley C.P. School.

A Statutory Notice in respect of this proposal was published on the 2 February 2024, and the Objection Period ended on 1 March 2024.

No objections were received during the Objection Period.

On the 19 March 2024, the Council's Cabinet agreed to go ahead with the proposal to close Irfon Valley C.P. School from the 31 August 2024, with pupils to transfer to their nearest alternative schools.
