Regional Partnership Board - Health and Care Strategy

Powys Regional Partnership Board (RPB) brings together a range of service representatives including the local council, health board, voluntary sector and other key people including citizens. We do this to ensure that people work together better to improve health and wellbeing in Powys.

An integrated Health and Care Strategy for Powys. It builds on thousands of conversations between the people of Powys, Powys Teaching Health Board, Powys County Council and key partners over the last year. The vision for health and Care in Powys, to 2027 and beyond.

Regional Partnership Board - Joint Area Plan

This PNA aims to provide a focused view of current and future health and social care needs in Powys from three key perspectives: 1. Identifying existing and future care and support needs (including the needs of carers) 2. Looking at the services and assets available to meet those needs 3. Identifying actions required to address any gaps in services or unmet needs

Social Services and Well Being (Wales) Act 2014

The Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act came into force on 6 April 2016.

The Act provides the legal framework for improving the well-being of people who need care and support, and carers who need support, and for transforming social services in Wales. The fundamental principles of the Act are: Voice and control, Prevention and early intervention - Well-being Co-production
