Aim
- Interviews conducted with children must be carefully planned and executed by suitably trained investigators. The interviewer must possess the ability to analyse accurately the information gained from all areas of an investigation in order to conduct a legally acceptable interview. Serious crime investigations demand a higher level of interview technique that is both ethical and effective.
- This course aims to improve the skills of the investigator in order that they are able to conduct effective and professional investigations from the start of a child abuse referral .
