- To understand the skills, knowledge and awareness required to ensure that people with profound needs receive the best quality of service to meet their individual needs.

- Understanding the discrimination that people with profound needs experience
- Understand some of the causes of these conditions and the impact it has of their abilities
- Breaking down barriers to enable inclusion
- Developed your supporting skills to enable engagement and interactions
- Being creative with the practice and the environment to meet individual needs
