Disability Register

BG04_register

The Social Services and Well-Being Act 2004 requires Local Authorities to create and keep a list of children with disabilities who live in their area. This list is optional, and it can help in planning services for the future.

Some of the information from this list can be shared, without names, with other organisations that ask for it, following the Freedom of Information Act, or if they need data to show the need for specific services in different parts of the Local Authority.
