Powys County Council congratulates learners on A Level and Level 3 results

Powys learners who have received their A level and Level 3 qualification results today (Thursday, August 15) have been congratulated on their achievements by the county council.

Powys County Council is very pleased to hear of the many learners who have achieved the results they needed to progress onto their next step to an exciting future, either at university, into an apprenticeship, or into the workplace.

This year, Powys learners have shown remarkable commitment and dedication, with many achieving top grades. The county has seen a significant number of learners attaining A* and A grades, as well as distinctions and distinction stars in vocational qualifications.

Cllr Pete Roberts, Cabinet Member for a Learning Powys, said: "I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all our learners who have received their results today.

"Their achievements fill me with immense pride and I am thrilled to hear the stories of their success.

"I would like to express my gratitude to everyone at the schools who have supported these learners through their exams, and to the families who have played a crucial role in encouraging and supporting their children throughout their educational journey.

"The talent and potential of the young people in Powys is truly exceptional. Many learners have demonstrated outstanding abilities in various fields, from academic excellence to creative arts and sports.

"We are fortunate that our learners in Powys have a diverse range of skills and abilities and have bright futures ahead of them.

"I wish all our learners the very best as they embark on their next chapter."
