Target Audience: Managers, IRO's, and Senior Practitioners (Adults & Children)

Aim:

  • To effectively lead and manage meetings and case conferences. 
  • Following the procedure of safeguarding children or adults at risk.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Support the ability to chair effective meetings and case conference.
  • Know the importance of involving the child or adult at risk, their attendance and consultation.
  • Understand the legal and procedural framework.
  • Manage and utilise, multi-agency discussion.
  • Guidance on how to best manage conflict.
  • Identify and manage ongoing risk of abuse and neglect.
  • Ability to implement and review the adult/child's care and support protection plan.
  • Decide on case closure based on evidence presented.
