Aims
Mental Capacity Act and DOLS for managers aims to provide a clear understanding of responsibilities as managers in relation to DOLS.
Objectives
Practical Examples - Introduction and explanation, an awareness of MCA and DOLS, an awareness of Best Interest and Decisions.
Knowledge of relevant legislation - lawful and unlawful deprivation and understand how the MCA and DOLS impact and provide support for those with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.
Dates and Times
There is no charge to attend these courses, however a cancellation charge may apply to non-attendance if sufficient notice is not given
