Llandinam C.P. School

Powys County Council has carried out the statutory process on a proposal to close Llandinam C.P. School.

A Statutory Notice in respect of this proposal was published on the 8 January 2026, and the Objection Period ended on 5 February 2026.

The Council has prepared an Objection Report outlining the Objections received during the Objection Period. The Objection Report is available below:

On the 24 March 2026, the Council's Cabinet considered the Objection Report and agreed to go ahead with the proposal to close Llandinam C.P. School from the 31 August 2026, with pupils to transfer to their new catchment school.
