Description:

This proposed Order is necessary to ensure that the restricted roads commence at the correct locations within communities.  Restricted roads are automatically created where there is a system of streetlights however the nature of the road can sometimes mean that speed limits in some locations should extend beyond the first streetlight.  In these instances, we need to make those lengths of road restricted by making an Order. 

The council has reviewed the locations of the speed limit terminal sections and believes the location identified in the order should be restricted and as such will be subject to the restricted road speed limit.  This ensures the application of the limits is consistent with the Welsh Government Guidance on restricted roads.
