Helping people with vision impairment living in Radnorshire

Radnorshire Association for the Blind is a society of blind and partially sighted people. The group is open to all Radnorshire residents who are registered Severely Sight Impaired (Blind) or Sight Impaired (Partially Sighted).

Membership of the society offers people with vision impairment social outings, support and contact throughout the Radnorshire area. Becoming a member is a great way of getting access to support and advice, as well as making friends.

What we do:

• contact all our members.
• provide a Christmas dinner with entertainment, free to all our members.
• provide a free summer trip to members.
• Autumn and Spring tea party.
• an Annual General Meeting in May with entertainment.
• offer grants to help towards the cost of equipment.
• Bi-annual newsletter.

How you can help us:

• join us as a member. Membership is free.
• take part in our meetings.
• if you are sighted, volunteer to support members on a seaside trip and social functions at no cost to yourself.

All events are held at the Hotel Metropole, Llandrindod Wells.

Monthly Social Group

Join us at our monthly social group - a welcoming, relaxed space to meet others, enjoy conversation, and pick up some free useful information and advice.

When: First Wednesday of the month

Time: 11am - 12.30pm

Where: Metropole Hotel, Llandrindod Wells
