CymruTech Park Development
Powys County Council's Economic Development Team is pleased to introduce CymruTech Park, a new advanced manufacturing and skills‑focused development that will also offer a range of modern commercial industrial units to support growing businesses across Mid Wales.
Through the development of CymruTech Park and the Advanced Manufacturing Centre in Newtown, Powys County Council is strengthening its commitment to innovation within the manufacturing sector. The site has been designed to be easily accessible to businesses throughout Powys and the wider Mid Wales region, with a strong focus on enabling growth, enhancing workforce skills and boosting productivity in advanced manufacturing
Project Timeline:
- Planning Consultation Period: Friday 17 April - Friday 15 May
- Estimated Planning Application Submission: Spring 2026
Asbri Planning have been instructed by Powys County Council to progress a Pre-Application Consultation (PAC) in respect of the proposed development. Anyone who wishes to make representations about this proposed development must do so by Friday 15th May 2026.
All relevant drawings, reports and supplementary supporting documents are available for inspection and review on their website.
