Harmful Sexual Behaviours

Course Aims:

This course will explore the umbrella term HSB and the continuum of behaviours which it includes. The course will consider responses across a range of preventative, protective and recovery response pathways based on best practice.

Course Outcomes:

• Why some children exhibit harmful sexual behaviours
• Understand the continuum harmful sexual behaviours exhibited by children both online and offline
• To explore the pathways to support for harmful sexual behaviours - prevention, protection and recovery pathways.
• Underpinning guidance - WSP and practice guide, research, CPR's and NICE guidance.
