Rights of Way: Improvement Plan

The Council adopted the Rights of Way Improvement Plan (PDF) [8MB] on 16th May 2019. The Plan is required by the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000.

The Rights of Way Improvement Plan sets out how the council will plan and prioritise improvements to the current access available in the county, and will also help other groups in Powys to improve access to the countryside. The ambitious Plan sets out the priorities and objectives of future work.

An annual work plan sets out the projects and areas of countryside access improvement work that are being carried out each year. The plan is aligned with the priorities set in the Rights of Way Improvement Plan and based on the resources available.
