The consultation process to review and agree the initial designs of the new school has commenced!

Powys CC, Dawnus and Architype have held design sessions with pupils, staff, school senior management team and the governors. Lee and Suzanna from Architype passionately described how the building is designed to grow with the pupils - how the pupils start their educational journey at the early years classes on the ground floor, and then progress through the phases around the building and finish their school journey at 6th form on the second floor.

Fantastic feedback was received, especially from the school pupils, who were all very excited and put some challenging and well thought out questions to the design team!

The authority is now working with the architects to incorporate as many comments as possible into the revised drawings. The designs will be presented to the school again in June and 'drop-in events' will be arranged for parents and the local community soon.
