Caravan site licences Holiday/Touring

image of caravan
We issue licences to all caravan sites in Powys as long as the applicant has valid planning permission. We encourage good standards at our caravan sites for the pleasure and enjoyment of our community as well as tourists who visit the area.

If the site benefits from both residential caravans/mobile homes and holiday or touring caravans then the site will require an additional Mobile Home Licence to cover this part of the site.

Licence conditions

We attach conditions to licences, and if site licence conditions aren't met, we can take enforcement action. We'll allow reasonable time for any problems to be put right.

Site Licence conditions are designed to protect the health, safety and welfare of caravan occupants and covers things like drainage, distances between caravans and so on.

We won't grant a licence if you have had a site licence revoked within three years of the current application.
