Target Audience: Social Worker teams/ Providers/Carers who work with adults with learning disabilities.

Course Aims:

• Have knowledge of different types of epileptic seizures
• Recognise and describe different types of seizures
• Describe the principles of managing an epileptic seizure
• Describe the impact of epilepsy on lifestyle
• Accurately describe the difference between status epileptics and serial seizures
