Renew / replace a Blue Badge

When to reapply

We do not renew badges, you will need to reapply. We also do not send out reminder letters, as the expiry date is shown clearly on the badge. You can reapply up to twelve weeks before your current badge expires.

Return expired badges

You must return your expired badge. Failure to do so may result in your badge being withdrawn.

Report a change in circumstances

Please report any change of circumstances to bluebadges@powys.gov.uk

If your badge is lost or stolen, please call the Customer Service Centre on the number below to reapply. 

If your badge has been stolen, report the theft to the Police. You will need to tell us the crime reference number which the Police will give you. 

If granted, you may be charged £10 for a replacement. You may also need to provide other documents if the details of your disability have changed.

Applicants will not be reimbursed for any costs involved in obtaining evidence to support their application.
