Residential Care Workers

If you're someone who really cares and connects with young people and has a 'can do' attitude then we have some great opportunities for you.

Our home

Ty'r Orsaf is a therapeutic children's home near Llanbynmair that supports three young people, aged 11-18 with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Operated in partnership between Powys County Council and Powys Teaching Health Board, it is a spacious residence with three bedrooms, sleeping accommodation for staff, a therapy room, comfy snug, living and dining area that open out to a large garden.

The outside space at our home is as important as the inside, providing the opportunity for children and young people to care and handle small animals, to garden by growing fruit, vegetables, and flowers; for everyone at our home to enjoy the therapeutic benefit of fresh air and exercise in beautiful surroundings.

Our vacancies

Working as part of our dedicated team, you will help create a safe home that will improve placement stability and parenting capacity to support children and young people with the most complex needs to achieve positive outcomes, improve their life chances and social well-being.
