An interactive 3-hour training session to raise awareness regarding the practise and use of the Mental Capacity Act.
Aim is to give participants an overview and awareness of the Mental Capacity Act, looking at the history, role, functions, guidance, principles and decision-making.
Know about the 5 principles of the MCA and how to apply them
Best Interests and its importance when managing making decisions for others
