Residents living in Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant have an opportunity to have their say on plans for a proposed housing development in the village, Powys County Council has said. The council is looking to build 18, highly insulated and eco-friendly homes on land to the west of Maes yr Esgob.

A mixed residential development which will be EPC A-rated or equivalent AECB, consisting of:

  • 2 x 3 bed houses
  • 6 x 2 bed houses
  • 6 x 1 bed houses
  • 4 x 1 bed bungalows

The proposed development will consist of two three-bed houses, six two-bed houses, six one-bed houses and for one-bed bungalows.
