Disabled adaptations

The adaption team offer support for Powys' residents that may struggle to do the normal day to day tasks, or possibly an individual who has suffered from a permanent injury may require adjustments within their home.

For example:

• Hearing loss,
• Loss/reduction in eye sight
• Mobility difficulties
• Safety features for mental health issues or Neurodivergent individuals

You may be eligible for the 'disabled facilities grant' to help fund adaptions to your property as long as you meet the criteria;

• own and live in their own home in Powys.
• are private tenants.
• have a permanent and substantial disability.
• are struggling with daily tasks.
