Powys County Council has accessed money from the Shared Prosperity Fund (UK Government Levelling Up scheme) to offer a range of placements.
Cllr Jake Berriman, Powys County Council's Cabinet Member with responsibility for HR, said: "We are delighted to be accepting applications for these vacancies which offer a fantastic opportunity to work, learn and gain valuable new skills.
"Whether you enjoy the outdoors, sports and physical activity - or have an interest in social care, data, research, environmental health, or recycling - there is a work experience placement for you."
The roles, which are now open for applications, are:
- Assistant Volunteer Co-ordinator (Countryside Access)
- Children's Services Front Door Project Researcher
- Countryside Access Assistant
- Data and Resource Co-ordinator (Children's Services)
- Graduate Environmental Health Officer
- Sport & Active Community Development Officer
- Waste Awareness Assistant
