School bus routes and timetables available to view online

Following the introduction of the new Powys school bus pass in 2021, Powys County Council have developed an online tool to allow parents, carers and students to check their live home-to-school transport routes and timetables on the council's website at School Bus Routes and Timetables
By entering the manual code from the student's bus pass, you can view a route map and timetable of the designated home-to-school transport route which, if viewed during the planned journey times, will show the approximate location of the bus whilst it is travelling.
Whilst the routes and timetables can be viewed as a 'guest', if you login to your My Powys Account (you can create one, if needed) you will be able to save routes and timetables to view again another time.
"Powys has the most extensive home to school transport service in all of Wales" explains John Forsey, Powys County Council's Head of Highways, Transport and Recycling.
"The new and innovative bus passes introduced a few years ago have allowed us to efficiently manage the transport service whilst, more importantly, improving student and driver safety.
"This new addition to our service will allow parents, carers and students to check online for up-to-date route and timetable information on their designated routes - allowing you to quickly see the expected times your bus will arrive and where abouts it currently is on the route.
"We would encourage all parents and carers who would like to use this useful tool to sign into their My Powys Account, where they will be able to save the relevant routes to make it easy to check again another time. All Powys residents are entitled to a My Powys Account and can register for one quickly and easy online."
