Assistive Technology

Welcome to the world of assistive technology, where innovation meets independence! Have you ever wondered how technology can support you or a family member/ friend with daily tasks to live life with ease, especially within the comfort of your own home?

Whether you're managing a disability, aging gracefully, or simply seeking more convenience, assistive technology offers a wealth of solutions to support independence and enhance quality of life.

Supporting people to maintain their wellbeing and independence is central to the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014.

Preventative approaches include:

  • Giving effective information, advice, and assistance
  • Connecting people to their communities
  • Focusing on people's strengths and capacity.

Technology can support this in practical ways.
