What happens next?

Children's Services must record the outcome of the assessment in a document.
This document will explain how the recommended actions will help meet the needs found in the assessment. A copy of the assessment will be provided to the child (where age appropriate) and parent/carer.
An assessment will conclude the following;
- There are no needs to be met
- A more comprehensive assessment is required, which may include signposting to services who will complete a more specialist assessment
- Needs can be met through the provision of information, advice or assistance
- Needs can be met through the provision of preventative services
- Needs can only be met through a care and support plan
- Parent does not consent to any intervention
