  The council tax/ business rates & awards service will only be taking calls between the hours of 9am till 1pm. We aim to have a full complement of staff during these hours to help improve call response times.

We can now send text messages to remind customers about overdue council tax instalments. We'll only text customers who gave their mobile numbers when contacting the council tax department online. We'll give the Council Tax Account Reference number and the amount due so they can pay online or through the automated payment line.
