Outcomes:
An interactive 3-hour training session to raise awareness regarding the practise and use of the Mental Capacity Act.
Aim is to give participants an overview and awareness of the Mental Capacity Act, looking at the history, role, functions, guidance, principles and decision-making.
Know about the 5 principles of the MCA and how to apply them
Best Interests and its importance when managing making decisions for others

- Thursday, 5 June 2025 10.00am - 1.00pm, Ladywell House Newtown
- Thursday, 31 July 2025 9.30am - 1.00pm, Y Bannau Room, Ty Brycheiniog Brecon
- 18 September 2025 10.00am - 1.30pm Committee Room A, County Hall Llandrindod Wells.
There is no charge to attend these courses, however a cancellation charge may apply to non-attendance if sufficient notice is not given
