Their success last week at Margam Park has been warmly welcomed by Powys County Council, which has praised the pupils and schools for their creativity, dedication, and passion for Welsh culture.
As Europe's largest youth festival, Eisteddfod yr Urdd attracts around 15,000 competitors annually and provides a vibrant platform for young people to showcase their talents in music, performance, literature, and digital media - all while celebrating the richness of the Welsh language and culture.
Cllr Pete Roberts, Powys County Council's Cabinet Member for a Learning Powys, said: "We are incredibly proud of all the pupils and schools from Powys who took part in this year's Eisteddfod yr Urdd. Their creativity, confidence, and commitment to Welsh culture and language are truly inspiring.
"We recognise the hard work of pupils, teachers, and families in preparing for the Eisteddfod and thanks them for their continued dedication to promoting Welsh culture and excellence in education.
"Events like the Urdd Eisteddfod not only highlight the wealth of talent in our communities but also help nurture a lifelong love of the arts, language, and identity. Congratulations to everyone involved - you are fantastic ambassadors for Powys."
