  • Struggling to sleep or switch off
  • Withdrawing from family, friends or usual activities

If these feelings last more than a couple of weeks, it's a good time to reach out.

Small actions can help lift your mood and improve your mental wellbeing:

  • Connect - Spend time with friends, family or your community
  • Be Active - Get moving in a way that suits you, even a short walk helps
  • Take Notice - Pause, breathe, and notice the world around you
  • Keep Learning - Try something new or rediscover an old interest
  • Give - A simple act of kindness can boost your mood and someone else's

You don't need to do them all at once — even small steps make a difference.

Simple ways to care for your mind:

  • Talk to someone you trust about how you're feeling
  • Spend time outside every day if you can
  • Keep a regular sleep and meal routine
  • Reach out early — don't wait for things to get worse
