Montgomery House, Welshpool - Evans Construction

In our summer newsletter, we mentioned that work was still ongoing at Montgomery House. As promised, we're now sharing an update following the completion of the refurbishment by our appointed contractor Evans Construction. The building, which provides important housing accommodation in the town, has seen a big improvement both inside and out.

We've included some before-and-after photos to show the changes and how the space has been refreshed while still respecting the building's character and history.

Property refurbishment complete - Knighton

A full refurbishment has recently been completed on a three-bedroom property in Knighton. The works were carried out by our local contractor Darren Davies and managed by Voids Coordinator, Paul Tabberer.

The property needed significant upgrades to bring it up to standard. The bathroom was in poor condition, with damaged flooring and outdated copper piping. The kitchen was also in need of attention, with issues affecting cupboard doors and drawer fronts. The lounge particularly required full redecoration due to heavy nicotine staining, with discoloured ceilings and walls.

The entire property was cleared, cleaned, and redecorated, with newly fitted carpets installed throughout. A newly fitted bathroom and improvements to the kitchen have made a real difference. The transformation has been impressive, and we hope the new tenants enjoy their new home.
