Disguised Compliance

Course Aims:
A course on disguised compliance which will allow staff to reflect on how this manifests and how practitioners skills can promote responsive engagement to counteract this.

Course Outcomes:

• Be aware of the reasons for uncooperative Behaviour and thb impact it can have
• Know how to deal with violence and hostility
• Know how to keep yourself safe
• Encouraging Equity between Parents and Professionals
• Be aware of how you can identify and counteract disguised compliance
• Recognise the link with safeguarding and disguised compliance - findings from thematic reviews / CPR's.
