Course Aims:

How Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children and Young People are identified and how they can be supported to ensure best practice. Including Child protection, safeguarding, relevant legislation and guidance in relation to these children and young people.

Course Outcomes:

• Understand the issues facing Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children and Young People and their role with regards to identifying risks, vulnerabilities, reporting and safeguarding. 
• Building resilience and acknowledging the impact their experiences may have on their physical and psychological wellbeing.
