Permanent closures of Public Rights of Way in Powys

 

Detail of Byway/Bridleway Closure:  Monk's Trod, Elan Valley (Byway No LC296)/UH7 between its junction with the C204 Rhayader to Cwmystwyth Road near Pont ar Elan and a point about 0.75 miles (1.2 kilometres west of Claerwen Farm in Ceredigion, a distance of about 6.75 miles(10.9 kilometres) - closed to vehicles with four or more wheels - closed due to inappropriate use by vehicular traffic.

Detail of Byway/Bridleway Closure:  Grwyney fawr (Restricted byway 3 and County Unclassified Road No. 0139): Rhiw Constable, Black Mountains - Between the C0080/U0141 near Penrhos, Llanelieu, Talgarth and a point adjacent to the garden wall of Grwyney fawr Reservoir in the Vale of Grwyney, a distance of about 3.4 miles (5.5. kilometres) - closed to vehicles with four or more wheels - closed due to inappropriate use by vehicular traffic.

Detail of Byway/Bridleway Closure:  Gap Road (Restricted byway No. 21 and County Unclassified Road No. U0549: Brecon Beacons between its junction with Bridleway No. 19 in Taf Fechan Forest near Torpantau and its junction with the private path leading to Tir-rhiw north of Cwmcynwyn, a distance of about 4 miles (6.5 kilometres) - closed to all motor vehicles (including motorcycles) - closed due to inappropriate use by vehicular traffic.
